LCSW Therapist

Position Full-time salaried LCSW Therapist position ($60,000- $65,000) in Metairie, LA. Basic Function The LCSW Therapist will work with individuals, couples, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of emotional and behavioral issues. The therapist will develop ongoing case plans, maintain a caseload of 25-30 counseling clients, and report weekly to the Chief Clinical Officer. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a counseling client caseload, including children, adolescents, and adults. Attend and participate in weekly clinical staff meetings. Refer clients to updated community resources. Maintain a high standard of record-keeping according to state laws and JFS policies. Other duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer. Minimum Qualifications LCSW license required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of Social Work Code of Ethics required. Experience working in a clinical setting. Computer skills; familiarity with JFS web-based electronic health record. Bilingual Spanish and/or credential to accept third party payers may qualify for a $1,500 signing bonus.
