Commercial Lines Account Manager

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Meridian, ID! The Commercial Lines Account Manager delivers exceptional client service while managing and supporting a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams—handling policy servicing, account management, and supporting new business and renewal activities. How You Will Contribute: Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries, providingtimely, professional, and high-quality service. Manage inbound and outbound phone call service requests, andday-to-day service requests including policy changes, endorsements, certificates, ID cards, and coverage questions. Support clients with billing questions, payment processing, and premium collection. Develop andmaintainstrong client relationships to support retention and long-termpartnerships. Prepare, review, and process insurance documents includingcertificates of insurance, binders and endorsements, and renewalaccords/supplementals and proposals. Maintainaccurateclient records in agency management systems, including updates, file documentation, and tracking open items. Collect and analyze client exposure data andassistinidentifyingcoverage gaps. Verify invoicing accuracy andassistwith premium finance agreements and accounting-related items. Manage mid-term policy changes andassistwith renewal strategy and stewardship reviews. Identifyopportunities foradditionalcoverage to mitigate uninsured or underinsured exposures. Licenses & Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 3+ years of commercial lines account management. Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and agency management systems. Ability to service within modern tech-centric agency management systems. Preferred Equivalent work experience or equivalent college degree. Experience in commercial insurance markets and carrier relationships. Experience supporting marketing, renewals, or new business placement.
