Job Overview : As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the

warehouse. This position involves overseeing and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff,

ensuring efficient workflows and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support.

• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on productivity and quality.

Workflow Coordination:

• Coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of

tasks.

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse team members based on priorities.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, picking, packing, and

shipping.

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures for incoming and outgoing products.

• Conduct inspections to ensure that products meet established standards.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.

• Conduct regular safety meetings and address any safety concerns promptly.

Equipment Operation:

• Supervise the operation of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet

jacks.

• Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.

Training and Development:

• Provide training to warehouse staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and

equipment operation.

• Support ongoing learning and development initiatives for the team.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as logistics, shipping, and

receiving.

• Relay information regarding inventory levels, order statuses, and other relevant

updates.

Problem Resolution:

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or

warehouse processes.

• Collaborate with team members to find solutions to challenges.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce

errors.

• Implement best practices and suggest improvements to warehouse management.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and other relevant

documentation.

• Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or a related field is a plus.

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, with leadership or supervisory experience.

• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse processes.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment with proper certification.

• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
