Respiratory TherapistThe Respiratory Therapist will provide advanced respiratory care in a high-acuity setting, supporting both adult critical care and neonatal patients. The role involves working with advanced ventilator systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation.Key responsibilities include:Provide respiratory care in critical care and NICU environmentsOperate and manage V60 BiPAP and Puritan Bennett 980 ventilatorsMonitor patient status and adjust treatment plans accordinglyDocument all patient care activities using EPIC EMR systemCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teamsParticipate in external patient transports as requiredEnsure compliance with safety and infection control protocolsRequirements include:Experience in critical care and NICUHands-on experience with V60 BiPAP and Puritan Bennett 980 VentilatorsFamiliarity with EPIC systemGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programCertifications/Licensure:Active New York State Respiratory Therapy LicenseNBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Current BLS & ACLS certificationsDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
