Microbiology Operations Manager

Eurofins seeks a Microbiology Operations Manager to oversee laboratory activities at its North Brunswick facility, ensuring compliance with cGMP and ISO 17025 standards. The role involves operational leadership, staff supervision, quality management, and customer technical support for pharmaceutical and medical device testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and manage microbiology laboratory personnel, resources, and schedules
• Develop production schedules and ensure timely completion of reports and data packages
• Oversee implementation and compliance of laboratory Quality Management System with ISO/IEC 17025
• Plan and oversee development of new laboratory technologies and test methods
• Handle client and employee requests, provide technical support, and assist with regulatory compliance documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology or related field
• 2-3 years laboratory testing experience, preferably with supervisory background
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 and cGMP quality systems
• Detailed understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device microbiological testing
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with adaptability

Compensation: $95,000-$105,000 depending on related experience and qualification
