Test Engineer II

Overview The Test Engineer II provides comprehensive test engineering support for the Product Manager Biometrics (PM BIO), under Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors (PM TS), Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE), Layered Protection, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN). Responsibilities Develops, initiates, integrates, and manages all logistics actions associated with the life cycle management of BCC systems. Coordinates between purchasing agents, field technicians, and engineers to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of biometric collection devices. Performs audits of assets and maintains inventory records for both government and contractor-acquired property. Maintains databases for equipment, statistical usage, and other critical files to support metrics and reporting. Researches system(s)/parts availability for initial and replacement materials, equipment, and repair parts through established government and commercial systems. Manages fielding support services, which include the acquisition, inventory, delivery, installation, and property book services. Manages the shipment of equipment to CONUS and OCONUS locations. Supports on-site and remote training, including New Equipment Training (NET).
