OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Council Bluffs, IA by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Drive OTR dry van freight nationwide from Council Bluffs, joining a team that prioritizes driver safety and equipment reliability. HMD issues late-model trucks equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters and provides in-house maintenance support to keep you rolling.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer on long-distance lanes and manage on-road schedules with dispatch.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep accurate logs, and secure cargo for transport.
- Deliver loads on time while adhering to DOT regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience. Compensation starts at 65 CPM with bonuses, regular home time and full benefits.
