Job Summary & Responsibilities Position Summary: The Manager/Senior Manager of Accounting oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient management of accounting processes. This role is responsible for leading a team of accountants and collaborating across departments to support financial planning and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily operations of the general accounting function, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany, and payroll. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other regulatory requirements. Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with external auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to support audit and compliance activities. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability. Support ERP system upgrades and financial system integrations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience in a publicly traded or global company. Familiarity with SOX compliance. Compensation & Growth • Base Salary Range: $115,200.00 - $172,800.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
