Role Description The Video Marketing - Content Creation - Summer Intern will support Peak Alliance’s marketing efforts by creating short-form and long-form video content that highlights member stories, company initiatives, and educational resources. This internship role is hybrid, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with a mix of in-person collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning video concepts, assisting with filming and production, editing videos for multiple digital platforms, and repurposing content for social media campaigns. The intern will also help with basic market research, brainstorming marketing strategies, and coordinating with team members to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice. This is an internship role designed to provide hands‑on experience in video marketing and content creation within a mission-driven organization. Qualifications Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with team members and convey ideas clearly in written and verbal formats. Ability to perform basic market research to understand audiences, trends, and competitive content in the restoration and small business space. Interest or foundational experience in marketing strategy, particularly in video and digital content campaigns. Comfort engaging with customers or partners and providing supportive, professional customer service when needed. Basic understanding of sales concepts and how marketing content can support lead generation and brand awareness. Experience or coursework in video production, filming, and editing using common tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar) is highly beneficial. Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn) and best practices for video content performance. Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field is preferred.
