Apex Systems has immediate opening for a Data Analyst supporting a local government client in the Baltimore area. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, have extremely strong excel skills, and be at the forefront of data based decision making to make recommendations around process improvement. In this role, you’d have the opportunity to work with Work Day platform and also be part of presentations to higher representatives. Please see below for specific skillsets and responsibilities.

Client: Local Government

Duration: 3 Month Contract

Location: Onsite in Baltimore, MD

Overview:

• Experience reviewing large scale data sets (5,000-40,000 lines) pertaining to Accounts Receivable and Payable
• Extensive excel experience – pivot tables – reconciling data
• Ability to cross reference data using defined variables
• Ability to work and collaborate with multiple internal teams
• Presentation skills to report findings to leadership and other teams
• Strong communication skills
