The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy, provide exceptional massage therapy services tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team. The therapist will be responsible for creating a peaceful and relaxing environment, delivering high-quality therapeutic massages, and ensuring client satisfaction through professional care. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone massage based on client needs. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their massage goals, health concerns, and preferences. Create customized treatment plans to address specific issues and promote overall well-being. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment history and any medical conditions or allergies. Assist with scheduling, confirming, and managing appointments. Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for clients. Educate clients about the benefits of massage therapy and how it can improve their health. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ethical standards. Maintain proper sanitation and hygiene of all massage equipment and tools. Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and best practices. Assist with collecting payments for services rendered and promoting packages for repeat business. Promote additional services and products available within the practice, when appropriate. Qualifications: Current, valid state licensure and certification in massage therapy. Proven experience as a Massage Therapist (minimum 3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. High level of ethics and integrity. Ability to tailor services to meet the specific needs of each client. Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Physical stamina to perform massage treatments for extended periods. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Comfortable working in a therapeutic environment with a focus on the physical well-being of clients. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in specialized techniques such as aromatherapy, prenatal massage, or reflexology. Experience working in a spa or wellness center environment. Knowledge of various massage tools and equipment (e.g., hot stones, aromatherapy oil diffusers). Benefits: Competitive pay and tips.
