Night Shift Plant Sanitation Specialist

3rd shift – 9:30 pm – 6:30 am Primary Duties Cleaning of all areas of the plant, including floors, ceilings, walls, gutters, and equipment, sometimes using ladders, fork truck cages, lifts, and cat walks. Dispensing and using proper chemicals for each job. Maintaining footbaths and hand wash stations and fork truck dip. Sanitizing repack, dumper and scale rooms at changeover. Sanitizing bean room, warehouse, tinnel area, tote area, and repack tools. Keeping drains cleared at all times. Preparing all cleaning chemicals and utensils for different jobs in different areas. Minimum Qualifications / Certifications / Experience Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lb. Must be able to follow lock‑out procedures on necessary equipment. Must have the ability to tear down equipment and reassemble it. Must be able to properly use all cleaning equipment and chemicals. Must be able to work with chemicals and withstand their aroma. Must have a good work record and good attendance. Must know how to use all necessary PPE and understand its purpose. Must be able to work off from ladders, fork truck cages, and cat walks. Must be self‑motivated and display logical thinking. Must be able to properly handle the use, dispersion, and storage of sanitation chemicals. Must be able to closely follow food safety and safety rules and procedures. Requirements Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job. Must be able to read colors and see colors.
