The successful candidate will provide expert legal counsel in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence cases. This role involves managing a diverse caseload and advocating for clients' rights. Responsibilities Represent clients in family law proceedings, including hearings and trials. Draft and review legal documents such as petitions and settlement agreements. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies. Prepare for court depositions by organizing evidence and coordinating witness testimony. Negotiate settlements that align with clients' best interests. Communicate effectively with clients about case progress and legal options. Stay current on procedural law knowledge across various jurisdictions. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software. Develop expertise in related legal areas to better serve diverse client needs. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing family law with successful case outcomes. Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Attorney's Briefcase. Experience drafting contracts, pleadings, and settlement agreements. Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable settlements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of procedural laws across jurisdictions. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
