Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Schedule

36-48 hours per week with 6-8 call shifts per 6 week schedule. Primarily scheduled for nights but may include occasional day coverage. Hours will not exceed 4 shifts per week unless mutually agreed upon.

Assignment Details

No guaranteed block scheduling or consistent weekends off. Holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum.
• Current state license or qualifying compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate AWHONN certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor the health status of patients and infants.
• Administer medications and interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
