Development Associate (Donor Relations)

Position Overview The TEC Conference is seeking a Part-Time Development Associate to enhance and increase our fundraising efforts through intentional relationship-building. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about our mission and experienced in cultivating meaningful connections with donors and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Steward relationships with prospective major donors and key stakeholders
• Assist in developing and implementing donor engagement strategies
• Support communication and follow-up with current and prospective supporters
• Help identify and cultivate new funding opportunities
• Participate in managing and updating the database

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in development or fundraising
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining donor relationships
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Familiarity with TEC and an ability to share the joy and effectiveness of TEC
• Familiarity and alignment with the mission and work of the TEC Conference and an ability to invite others into involvement

Position Details

• Part-time: 3-7 hours per week
• Fully remote
• Flexible schedule, with required biweekly virtual staff meetings
