The role involves analyzing financial statements, preparing and maintaining operational reports, and maintaining general ledger(s). The Junior Staff Accountant will assist senior accounting professionals in making informed financial and business decisions. Prepare, report, and analyze organizational and departmental operational costs. Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly P&L analysis, audits, and reconciliations. Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue analysis, audits, and reconciliations. Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliations. Research and analyze financial discrepancies and report corrective actions. Monitor full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, audits, and monthly tax returns. Perform accurate monthly journal entry preparation and premium reconciliation for financial reporting. Conduct regular audits of financial records for GAAP and policy compliance. Assist with audit preparation and financial report requests from internal and external stakeholders. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. At least 2 years of work experience in accounting as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Specialist required. What We Look For Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and standard bookkeeping procedures. Strong knowledge of finance and tax regulations. Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software (e.g., ADP Workforce, QuickBooks, SAP Concur). Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels. Flexible and solutions-oriented mindset with ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong ability to analyze and review standard accounting reports. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
