Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant provides important clerical and technical support to the finance department and works closely with the Controller and other team members on a variety of accounting functions. What You’ll Do Downloading bank transactions and maintaining financial spreadsheets Running daily customer billing processes Submitting customer invoices through online portals Maintaining customer sales tax exemption certificates Managing certificates of insurance documentation Assisting with business license renewals Supporting online sales tax filings Assisting with finance tasks such as: Cash applications Customer refunds Account reconciliations Helping with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred OR 1‑2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance‑related experience Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail Good organizational and time‑management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Preferred Computer Skills Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Windows operating systems JD Edwards – Oracle Crystal Reports Salary: $46,000.00 – $50,000.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr Half Price Books
