Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Pending License not accepted Certifications: BLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience - Patient Ratio Experience of 6 - Charting System Experience preferred - Community Hospital Experience preferred Description: Ratios: 1:6 Floating to other units is expected at times with this position. Years of experience required: 2 years. First-timers are accepted. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. Local candidates are not accepted. RTO policy states that if one holiday falls in the assignment, expect to work it; if two holidays, expect to work one; if three, expect to work two. Any requested time off must be included in submission covers and confirmation documents. Dedicated Education Unit focuses on teaching newly graduated nurses foundational skills. Nurses working in this unit are highly engaged preceptors. Patient Age Groups served include adults and geriatrics. Daily census typically around 20 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. This position requires compliance with a zero-tolerance policy for THC. Fit testing is required for this position. Travelers must meet health compliance instructions.
