$20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus

The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)  at Frye Regional Medical Center is an 8-bed unit known for its exceptional teamwork, supportive culture, and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Our close-knit team works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, fostering professional growth, and meaningful relationships. Nurses in the CVICU have the opportunity to care for critically ill patients while being supported by experienced colleagues and engaged leadership dedicated to their success.

How you'll contribute 

A Registered Nurse (RN)  who excels in this role:

\n
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
\n
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
\n
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
\n
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
\n
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
\n
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
\n

What we're looking for 

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include:

\n
• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
\n
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
\n
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
\n
• Two or more years of ICU, CVPCU/ CV Tele, or PCU/ Intermediate Step-Down experience required.
\n

  One year of CVICU experience preferred.
