Qualifications – What You’ll Need:

• Active New York State teaching certification
• Experience or enthusiasm for general education and ART instruction
• Ability to travel between assigned schools (Hornell, Greenwood, and Bath, NY)
• Dedication to creating an inclusive, inspiring classroom environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Openness to teaching various age groups (exact ages to be determined)
• Commitment to full contract term: September through June

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach ART to students or assist classroom teachers with ART curriculum
• Adapt lessons for diverse learning styles and needs
• Encourage student participation and cultivate creative skills
• Collaborate with school staff and administration to deliver cohesive instruction
• Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning atmosphere
• Maintain classroom management and documentation as required
• Travel to multiple school locations as scheduled
