Schedule & Shift Full time. Night (United States of America). Job Description Registers patients for services and ensures accuracy in insurance identification, selection, and authorization requirements. Obtains required patient documents from in‑house patients or appropriate representatives. Creates accurate good‑faith estimates to maximize upfront cash collections and add collection documentation as needed. Maintains schedule flexibility and arranges continual coverage of assigned workstations to promptly assist customers. Properly identifies patients to ensure armband accuracy, inputs demographic information, and secures required forms for compliance. Supports registration staff during peak times to ensure timely processing of patients through system protocols. Screens and directs faxes, document copies, and assists in obtaining patient prescriptions when applicable. Reviews physician orders and scripts to verify patient information and clinician signatures. Directs customers to the appropriate area within departments, and assesses the lobby periodically to meet patient and visitor needs. Manages clerical duties and assigned projects, supports daily operational flow, and monitors timely account classification related to insurance reimbursements. Other duties as assigned.
