IBM is looking for a Business Analyst who can turn data and business needs into clear insights and practical solutions. You'll work with stakeholders, data teams, and developers to understand problems, analyze data, and deliver dashboards and recommendations that guide decisions. This role is based in our Texas and Colorado locations.

• Gather and document business requirements through meetings, interviews, and workshops.
• Analyze large datasets to find trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
• Write SQL queries to extract, clean, and validate data.
• Define and track KPIs and report performance to stakeholders and leadership.
• Map current-state processes and recommend improvements.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Support UAT, testing, and rollout of new solutions.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data and BI tools

• Tableau and Power BI (dashboards, DAX or calculated fields, data modeling)
• SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries, window functions)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)

Business analysis

• Requirements gathering and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
• Process modeling (BPMN, flowcharts, Visio or Lucidchart)
• Gap analysis, root cause analysis, and stakeholder management

Delivery and collaboration

• Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
• Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

• Python or R for data analysis
• Cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) and data platforms such as Snowflake
• ETL concepts and tools (Power Query, Alteryx, dbt)
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos Analytics
• Domain experience in finance, healthcare, energy, retail, or tech
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Microsoft PL-300, or Tableau Desktop Specialist

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
