Project Management Consultant (Financial Systems Implementation)


Overview
A financial services organization is seeking a Project Management Consultant to lead a large-scale system implementation and data migration initiative.
This role will be responsible for managing the full delivery lifecycle of a complex financial platform transformation, coordinating across internal stakeholders and external vendors.



Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of a system implementation and migration program
  
  
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  
  
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, technology, and compliance
  
  
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with delivery milestones
  
  
• Oversee data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes
  
  
• Support UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization
  
  
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies and drive resolution
  
  
• Ensure effective communication and reporting to leadership

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of project management experience
  
  
• Experience leading enterprise system implementations primarily in the financial services or FinTech industry
  
  
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience
  
  
• Experience with data migration and system integration
  
  
• Proficiency with project management tools and frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or fintech environments
  
  
• PMP or equivalent certification
  
  
• Experience managing large, multi-phase transformation programs

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $60 per hour (W2)
