Job ID: SRJ_7013Posted: 2025-04-16Location: Redmond, WASalary: USD 120-125 / Yearly (Full Time)Employment Type: Full TimeClient: TechMContact: Meghana GorusuCompany: SRI Tech SolutionsJob Title: Tech Lead (Hardware/Firmware Validation)Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)Role Overview:Define and execute design verification test requirements and procedures.Work from device subsystems level up to system level.Own areas of design verification for prototypes leading to shipping products.Collaborate with system module teams on test protocol and metric alignment.Define overall test strategy, evaluate equipment and qualification processes.Integrate test systems into existing data management networks.Key Responsibilities:Validate test firmware/software releases, including repeatability testing.Coordinate software quality metrics.Troubleshoot and debug test systems and automation solutions from both software and hardware perspectives.Lead integration of test systems into data management networks.They have to deal with offshore team as wellProven Technical Leadership to deliver projects/outcomes by working with clients and offshore teams. Minimum Qualifications:Design verification experience for embedded systems.Experience in developing complex hardware/software test solutions using internal and generic tools.Proficiency with scripting language Python.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, is a must.Experience as a test engineer in high-volume consumer electronics or related fields.Experience with camera, sensor, LED, or display testing and calibration.Ability to take on a lead role and support Meta Leads in planning and roadmaps.Act as the point of contact for day-to-day communications with the offshore team.Desired Skills:Understanding of both firmware and hardware at the system level.Ability to diagnose issues in firmware and hardware, working with experts to recommend fixes.Strength in test design and automation development.Cross-functional (XFN) oriented personality.SRI Tech Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, national origin or citizenship status or ethnic origin, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other occupationally irrelevant criteria.
