Green Light is hiring a Customer Service Specialist – Out of Network Claims to join our growing team.

 

In this role, you’ll spend your day speaking with healthcare providers by phone, reviewing out of network medical claims, discussing fee information, and negotiating fair payment agreements. This is a role for someone who enjoys communication, problem-solving, and working toward solutions.

 

If you have experience in customer service, call centers, billing, insurance, collections, healthcare, or other phone-based roles , we’d like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Speak with healthcare providers by phone regarding medical claims and payments
• Review claim information and discuss payment options
• Negotiate and resolve outstanding claims
• Answer provider questions and explain the claims and payment process
• Handle a high volume of calls and claims each day
• Keep accurate notes and records of conversations and agreements
• Work with your team to resolve questions and challenging claims
• Protect confidential patient and claim information

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 2+ years of experience in customer service, call center, insurance, billing, collections, or a similar role
• Is comfortable spending much of the workday speaking with people by phone and email
• Communicates clearly, professionally, and confidently
• Is comfortable having conversations about money, payments, and resolving disagreements
• Can stay organized while managing a high volume of work
• Pays close attention to details
• Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions
• Is dependable, motivated, and willing to learn

Healthcare claims, medical billing, insurance, collections, or negotiation experience is a plus—but NOT required. We provide training!
