Assistant Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Project Manager plays a key support role in keeping construction projects organized, moving forward, and properly communicated between departments, vendors, field staff, and leadership.This position is ideal for someone early in their construction career who wants hands-on exposure to project management, estimating support, operations coordination, and construction administration.This role is highly collaborative and requires someone who is responsive, detail-oriented, energetic, and comfortable picking up the phone to solve problems quickly.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWhat You’ll Be DoingTrack active projects and assist with project coordinationSupport Project Managers and department with daily operational needsHelp maintain schedules, project documentation, and communication flowCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teamsAssist with estimating and bid supportRequest pricing, proposals, and material information from vendors/subcontractorsHelp identify and fill operational gaps to keep projects movingFollow up on outstanding items and maintain accountability across projectsAssist with permits, submittals, RFIs, and project documentationSupport project startup and closeout processesMaintain organized digital and physical project filesAnswer calls, communicate proactively, and help solve problems in real timeWhat We’re Looking ForDegree, certification, or coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsHigh energy and willingness to take initiativeComfortable making calls and following up persistentlyAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailPositive attitude and team mentalityProficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn construction softwarePrior construction experience is helpful but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTStandard office environment with occasional visits to job sites.Ability to sit for extended periods and use computer equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Creations Northwest | HTIP
