This role involves providing safe, competent, and quality patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, focusing on cardiac procedures for pediatric patients with specialized needs. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Job Details Position Description: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care based on nursing theory and research to pediatric patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, applying critical thinking in patient management, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate plans of care, and educating patients and families on treatment and care transitions. Required Qualifications: NYS RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, Associate Degree considered with relevant experience; 2 years of cardiology, tele, or procedural experience; 2 years of RN experience; 1 year travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem); Epic experience highly preferred; located within the local area or willing to travel; work schedule includes nights, with a shift time of 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM, minimum of 34.5 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric cardiac cath lab procedures, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: The role requires the candidate to demonstrate clinical proficiency in pediatric cardiac procedures, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and support a patient-centered, relationship-based model of care.
