This position will collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders, play a key role in managing month-end and quarter-end close processes, and assist in developing new or refining existing processes while ensuring adherence to accounting policies and controls.Job DescriptionAssist in managing month-end and quarter-end close processesReview select journal entries and account reconciliationsEnsure the established internal controls framework is adhered toAssist in managing the external audit processContribute to technical accounting research, projects, and implementation of new accounting standards or non-standard transactionsSpearhead process improvement or system change projects impacting the General Ledger and accounting functionContribute to preparation and review of 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filingsCollaborate cross-functionally with departments such as FP&A, Legal, Operations, and Tax on recurring and ad hoc reporting requestsPrepare financial analyses, including variance analysis against budget and evaluation of key business driversLead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support for developmentPartner with other departments to support overall organizational goals and objectivesSpan of ControlResponsible for leading one or more distinct functional areasMay manage external vendor relationshipsWork deliverables are often self-initiatedTypical Minimum Education & Experience; Knowledge/Skills/Abilities RequiredDemonstrated relevant experience requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not requiredMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial roleStrong knowledge of GAAP and SOX complianceExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsProficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong oral and written communication skills #IND
