Security Guard Position

The guard position is essential for maintaining safety and security within the designated area in Metairie, LA. This role involves monitoring premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities, ensuring a safe environment for both employees and visitors. Guards will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and reporting any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities. The ultimate goal is to create a secure atmosphere that fosters peace of mind for all individuals present. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of the facility and its operations.

We have a multi-tiered approach to make sure your site is receiving the highest service possible:

Managers for Operations and Scheduling
Customer Care Specialists for working directly with clients in creating tailored post instructions and training onsite officers
Field Supervisors for random site inspections, evaluations, assisting with any issues and training onsite officers
Site Supervisors for delivering targeted supervision of a location and working with clients on a daily basis to maintain the highest levels of service

Electronic daily logs, incident reports, and round system with GPS verification
Client has 24/7 access to all reports

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid security guard license or certification as required by state regulations, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred qualifications include previous experience in security or law enforcement, first aid and CPR certification, and knowledge of surveillance systems and security technology.

Responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to ensure safety and security, responding promptly to alarms and incidents, maintaining detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, enforcing rules and regulations to ensure compliance and safety, and collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

The required skills for this position include strong observational abilities, effective communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with security technology will enhance the guard's ability to monitor and respond to incidents efficiently.
