Credentials Coordinator (Contract)

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033 (White Memorial LA – North Building, 1st Floor)
Contract Duration: 26 weeks

Pay: $1500-1600week
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift (8-hour day shift)
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Onsite: Required (local candidates preferred)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Manage credentialing lifecycle: initial appointments, reappointments, privileging, and primary source verification
Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant provider credentialing files and databases
Support provider onboarding including orientation, training coordination, access, and badging
Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, Joint Commission standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain confidentiality and assist with ongoing medical staff services operations

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in medical staff services or credentialing in acute care/hospital setting (required)
Familiarity with Joint Commission standards required
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
CPCS/CPMSM certification preferred (not required)
High school diploma/GED preferred; associate degree preferred
Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality standards
