Key Responsibilities of the RN – MedSurg/Tele

• Provide care for patients with conditions like end-stage renal disease, diabetes, stroke, and behavioral health issues.
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and trach care.
• Manage medication drips including cardiac drips and heparin.
• Ensure comprehensive drain and tube management (e.g., PEG tubes, Foley catheters).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, charge nurses, and hospitalists.

Requirements of the RN – MedSurg/Tele

• Active RN license with a minimum of 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Proficiency in using Epic EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems.
