Job Title: Strategic Procurement Specialist Location: Rosemead, CA (Hybrid — 2 days Mon & Tue) Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2 (All inclusive) Type: Contract Duration: Long Term Need only local candidate Job Summary Seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist with expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract negotiation, and category management. This role is responsible for procuring technical equipment, software, engineered products, and networking services while driving cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities Negotiate commercial agreements, supplier contracts, pricing, and long‑term purchasing arrangements. Procure technical equipment, systems, software, components, and engineering‑related products and services. Develop sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings and lowest total cost of ownership. Conduct market research and monitor technology, supplier, and cost trends. Manage category strategies, supplier relationships, and contract compliance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement opportunities and support project objectives. Review purchase orders, supplier performance, delivery issues, and contract compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. Strong experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation. Knowledge of financial, commercial, risk, logistical, and cost analysis tools. Experience managing commercial agreements and category management initiatives. Ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and deliver business results. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting Telecom, Wireless, Networking, and/or Carrier Services categories.
