UX Designer - Employee Digital Experiences

Title: UX Designer – Employee Digital Experiences (Contract) Pay Rate: $42 - $49/hr Target Start Date: July 20, 2026 Duration: 6-month assignment Summary: We are seeking a UX Designer II to support the creation and enhancement of employee-facing digital experiences across internal people and resource platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and refine user experiences that help employees easily access information and resources related to benefits, wellness, compensation, and workplace support. This position requires a strong visual design sensibility combined with solid UX execution skills. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail‑oriented, and comfortable moving from wireframes and concepts to polished visual layouts and interactive prototypes in fast‑paced environments. What You’ll Do Support the design and visual execution of employee‑focused digital experiences and platform initiatives Collaborate with designers, developers, producers, and program managers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences Design layouts, UI assets, and responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms Contribute to design systems, component libraries, and UX documentation standards Work within CMS environments to support content updates and page layouts Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and production‑ready visual designs Participate in design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback into iterative solutions Maintain design libraries, documentation, and UX standards across projects Support production updates and implementation tasks as needed Utilize AI‑enabled tools and workflows within the design process to improve efficiency and creative exploration What You Bring 2–4 years of professional experience in UX, UI, or visual design Strong visual design and UI craftsmanship with exceptional attention to detail Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, and related design tools Experience creating responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences Working knowledge of HTML and CSS Experience creating interactive prototypes and UX specifications Experience working within CMS platforms and content‑driven digital environments Familiarity with GitHub repositories and collaborative design/development workflows Experience incorporating AI tools into design workflows Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross‑functional teams Comfortable working within Mac‑based environments Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field — or equivalent experience Portfolio showcasing UX/UI and visual design work required Bonus Points If You Have Background in graphic design or strong visual storytelling experience Experience contributing to design systems and component libraries Familiarity with analytics or metrics‑driven UX decision‑making Experience designing multilingual or global digital experiences Strong understanding of responsive design best practices TCWGlobal is an equal opportunity employer.
