Description: Resource Pool RN for Telemetry. The position involves working 3 twelve-hour night shifts. Travelers may be called off or placed on call once per pay period. If placed on call, there is a 60-minute call back requirement. Strong telemetry skills are necessary. Experience with diabetes management, COPD, cardiovascular diseases, hepatic conditions, oncology, sepsis protocol, and alcohol withdrawal protocol is required. Float to various areas of the hospital except for L&D, ED, and Special Procedures. The patient population will include adults and geriatrics with multiple comorbidities. Must have experience managing central lines and cardiac drips. The candidate must be flexible, a team player, and willing to learn. Candidates should expect to cover weekends, with every other weekend required. This position supports various units, so a willingness to float is essential. Knowledge of Epic electronic charting is preferred. Flu vaccine is required, with exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis. Module completion is required prior to starting the assignment.
