GIS Technician / GIS Analyst

CAD Technician and GIS Technician / GIS Analyst - Utility Industry Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 – On‑site Duration: 9–12 months plus. Possible temp to perm hire Required technical skills: GIS CAD technology, MicroStation Connect preferred. Responsibilities Prepare utility mapping packages for field crews. Perform preliminary as‑built work. Review mapping submissions for completeness, accuracy and standards. QA/QC detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. Understand design changes and modifications into existing drawings for QA/QC of completed work. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Create 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems. Read calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings. Effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software such as GTECH, MicroStation Connect, ESRI, or similar. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and plans. Experience with QA/QC of CAD drawings. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Strong communication skills.
