Job Title: Production Clerk

Position Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

The Production Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the production floor by maintaining accurate records, reviewing production schedules, tracking inventory, and ensuring documentation is up to date. This role plays a key part in keeping production organized, efficient, and compliant with company procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and update work orders.
• Track and record production output and materials usage.
• Assist in coordinating the flow of materials and products between departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and notify management of shortages or discrepancies.
• Enter production data into systems and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Communicate with warehouses, purchasing, and other departments to support smooth operations
• Ensure all paperwork complies with quality and safety standards.
• Support production supervisors with administrative tasks as needed.
• Any other duties as the job demands.

• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Capable of identifying discrepancies in data and taking appropriate corrective action.
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment in handling routine and non-routine situations.
• Able to recognize when to escalate issues to supervisors or cross-functional teams.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Bilingual preferred; English and Spanish

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Microsoft Skills preferred
• Experience with Epicor Software
• Attention to Detail
• Administrative or Clerical Work
