The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing incoming, in‑process, and final inspections to ensure materials, components, and finished equipment meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards. This role supports the manufacturing of engineered‑to‑order capital equipment in compliance with ISO 9001, ASME Section VIII, and other applicable industry codes and standards. Roles And Responsibilities Read and interpret mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, GD&T, and Bills of Material Generate and process Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming materials and products, ensuring proper documentation and disposition Use precision measurement and test equipment to make accurate measurements Respond quickly to production and engineering requests for inspection Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality personnel to investigate quality issues and support corrective actions Efficient communicator who is comfortable working with email and ERP systems for documentation of inspections Inspect welded assemblies for compliance with AWS and ASME code requirements, approved weld procedures, and engineering specifications Perform dimensional inspections of machined and fabricated components Perform electric control panel inspections for proper operations Verify proper identification, labeling, and traceability of materials and components throughout the manufacturing process Participate and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve manufacturing processes Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or a related field 7+ years of QA/QC experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing Experience with large complex capital equipment Experience with welding inspection Minimum of 30% travel to customer sites Hands‑on manufacturing experience, particularly in welding or machine shop Preferred Qualifications CWI certification Knowledgeable in welding, NDT, AWS/ASME codes Experience with welding inspection/CWI certification Certified or experience in ISO 9001 auditing Equal Opportunity Statement Komline is an EEO employer – M/F/Vets/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr Komline-Harn
