Prep Cook

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. The Prep Cook will be responsible for following recipes, chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organization.


Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team setting
- Excellent time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus


Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for the daily menu according to provided recipes
- Assist with the cooking and presentation of food items
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
- Ensure all food preparation areas are sanitized
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed
