RN-Circulator - 13-Week Contract Position

Location: Belfast, ME

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with call responsibility; may include occasional late shifts every 3-4 Fridays.

Job Description: The RN-Circulator will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room. This role includes managing patient care throughout surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with surgical teams to facilitate successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist in all aspects of patient care in the operating room.
• Monitor and document patient's vital signs and response to anesthesia.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
