Lobby Attendant - (part-time)

Lobby Attendant Westdrift Autograph Collection by Marriott in Manhattan Beach is currently looking for energetic and enthusiastic Lobby Attendants to join this great team. Essential Job Functions Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents. Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed. Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion. Clean ashtrays and empty trash. Assist with washing coffee mugs and drinking glasses. Ensure that the lobby area is neat and clean, including picking up trash, keeping floors clean, including front entrance. Assists Front Desk with guest requests such as delivering "towels, toiletry, etc." Walk the parking lot daily for excess trash. Turns in all lost and found items and all guest room keys. Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Follows safety and security procedures and rules. Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures. Utilizes protective equipment. Reports unsafe conditions to management. Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to management. Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules. All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook). Perform any related duties as requested by management. Assists other Housekeeping Personnel when need. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability. No previous experience required. Ability to understand and follow directions, and perform job functions under limited supervision. Physical Demands Ability to Lift, Push & Pull up to (50) pounds required. Frequent bending while loading/unloading washers/dryers, sorting linen and folding Continuous movement throughout department Standing is required during the entire shift. Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling. Ability to extend arms, scrub, bend, stoop, and stand and walk public areas for extended periods of time.
