Service Technician Job ID: SST-NC Location: Charlotte, NC area Pay: $20 up to $32 hourly + Overtime when applicable + employee benefits *pay range noted is depending on skill set & level hired – I-II-III* Seeking Service Technicians with hands on mechanical & electrical troubleshooting experience and the ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot band saw machinery. Details & Qualifications: Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot band saw machinery. Must be able to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical drawing and schematics. Basic knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical troubleshooting. Mechanical troubleshooting. Excellent communications, interpersonal and diagnostic skills. Working knowledge of all precision / measuring tools / basic hand tools. PLC knowledge is a plus – will train. Must be able to perform detailed inspections and/or option modifications on all machinery. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting (max. 50lbs). Valid/ clean driver’s license required. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to travel – same day local travel and the occasional out of state overnight for field service with installation and training on customers onsite machinery.
