Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 hours/week Contract Length: 12 weeks

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Collects and analyzes relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Develops and implements care plans, coordinating care delivery and promoting a safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward attaining patient outcomes and collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
