Responsibilities
- Circulate during heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic procedures; ensure sterile technique and proper equipment readiness
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively; recognize and report changes in patient condition to the surgical team
- Position, drape, and prepare the operative field; assist with instrument handling and room setup
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub staff; verify counts and handle specimens as required
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficient workflow
- Willingness to float to other sites as needed and participate in on-call requirements as assigned

Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS; ACLS certifications
- OR circulating experience, including exposure to heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic procedures
- Ability to circulate in a fast-paced surgical environment and operate across multiple sites as needed
- Availability for on-call duties and a 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts
- Certified to circulate; able to meet the department's call and equipment needs
