Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions, interpreting imaging results and laboratory tests
• Work hand-in-hand with surgical teams to craft and implement patient-specific treatment strategies for surgeries
• Provide comprehensive intraoperative assistance, optimizing operating room preparations, patient positioning, and instrument handoffs during surgery
• Ensure exemplary pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, wound management, discharge planning, and thorough patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a preference for surgical experience

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications are a must
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
