Your Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical care plans
• Provide robust intraoperative support, managing the surgical environment, assisting with patient positioning, and exchanging instruments as needed
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and educating patients on their aftercare

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• A strong preference for candidates with prior clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice

Necessary Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
