Business Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a business litigation associate to join its Washington, DC office. The firm handles complex business disputes and white‑collar matters nationwide, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment. Duties Research and draft motions and deposition outlines. Prepare exhibits and manage motion practice. Coordinate discovery and understand civil procedure. Take and defend depositions and argue motions. Manage large, complex discovery processes. Participate in business development efforts. Requirements 3‑4 years of experience in complex business disputes. Excellent academic credentials. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Federal clerkship and big‑law experience preferred. Licensed or eligible for immediate licensing in Washington, DC. Maryland and/or Virginia bar is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in Washington, DC. Skills Strong research and drafting abilities. Proficiency in civil procedure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
