Business Analyst - Consultant

Document data relationships and write basic SQL statements Implement and manage standard testing procedures for system changes Facilitate requirement sessions and build comprehensive requirements documentation, including validation and request traceability Facilitate user acceptance testing, document test results, and help procure business approvals Work with business owners and SMEs to identify automation opportunities and analyze required process changes Perform root cause analysis to identify solutions addressing the true source of issues Participate in project phases and report status updates to the Project Manager, including feasibility, requirements, development, QA, implementation, and maintenance Support client engagements across technology, retail, public sector, and AI industries Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, business management, finance, or a related field Minimum of 4 years of experience in ERP reporting tools (Workday, SAP, Oracle) Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Public Sector clients, including federal, state, or local government, and higher education institutions Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders Strong knowledge of ERP modules and integration with reporting tools and third-party datasets Experience communicating analytical outcomes through written communication to both business and technical teams Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems Knowledge/experience with Agile methodologies Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus Experience creating test case scripts for regression/functional testing Proven project management experience, preferably with PMP or similar certification Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa or visa-extension sponsorship available Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in business analysis and ERP reporting tools, with a strong focus on facilitating user acceptance testing and documenting comprehensive requirements.
