Metal Finishing / Grinding Technician (FIRST SHIFT) (Auto Body Experience Welcome) Pay: $18–$25/hr. (based on experience) Location: Indianapolis, IN Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 6am-2:30pm Have you worked in auto body, collision repair, sanding, or grinding? Your skills transfer directly to this job. We’re looking for hands‑on individuals to grind and finish metal parts to a clean, paint‑ready surface in a production environment. What You’ll Do: Grind and smooth welds on metal parts Sand and prep surfaces for high‑quality paint finish Use hand grinders, sanders, and power tools Inspect parts for scratches, pits, or defects Maintain a clean and safe work area Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining required finish quality What We’re Looking For: Experience with grinding, sanding, polishing, or finishing (auto body, fabrication, or similar work is a strong plus) Attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to balance speed and quality in a production environment Good judgment to know when a part meets spec vs. needs additional work Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Comfortable using hand and power tools We will train the right candidate with strong hands‑on skills.
