Environmental Services Aide

Environmental Services Aide Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across all hospital areas. The role involves ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors while upholding all regulatory and company quality standards. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and safety across all hospital areas according to established quality standards and regulations. Utilize various equipment such as high dusters, vacuums, mops, and floor polishers to perform cleaning duties. Handle general office equipment and assist in maintaining a tidy work environment. Use good communication skills and a detail‑oriented approach to tasks. Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations. Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling hazardous materials and potential exposure situations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping preferred. May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.
