What You'll Do:

  • Manage a caseload independently across inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
  • Work with diverse patient populations including spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, and medically complex patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning and implementation
  • Document patient progress using EMR systems (EPIC, Meditech Expanse, Wellsky)
  • Provide patient education and support to facilitate recovery
  • Contribute to departmental operations and quality care initiatives

What You Need:

  • Current LA PT license and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in outpatient or inpatient settings
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and patient management skills

About the Assignment:

This outpatient-focused role is at a well-established hospital in Shreveport, offering a supportive environment with peer collaboration and a structured orientation. No weekend or holiday coverage required, making it ideal for work-life balance. The position provides a full-time schedule and the opportunity to gain experience with diverse patient diagnoses, including sports medicine, neuro, and orthopedic cases.
